Canonsburg High School Faculty
At the time of the flappers and hip
flasks, Canonsburg High School began building a stable faculty. Some
teachers were there for years. It was not unusual for students to
compared to (and even confused with) parents and aunts or uncles.
Many teachers were Canonsburg High School graduates who returned as
teachers. This allows easy acces to photographs over many years, and
the subjects tend to be faculty members who taught into the 1950s.
Another criterion, though, is the availability of pictures., as
yearbook were not published between 1925 and 1938. Additions to the
collection would be welcomed.
