We are fortunate
in Washington County to have several biographical histories at our disposal.
There are five ways to get access to these books:
-
Copies of these books can be
found in the genealogy section at Citizens
Library in Washington, PA and in the genealogy collections of most
major libraries throughout the country.
-
These books have been microfilmed
and many major libraries have these films on hand in their genealogy departments.
-
The LDS (Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints, aka Mormon) have them available at their local LDS
Family History Centers where they may be ordered and viewed.
-
They are also available for
rent from the Hoenstine
Rental Library.
-
Purchase the ones that have
been reprinted from one of several genealogical
book vendors.
