In KEYHOLE for April 1986, XIV, 57, is a record of James Devore
who died in (then) Yohogania County, Virginia in 1779. His will
names 12 children. Five were minors. Betty M. Mann in her 1992
DEVORE FAMILIES lists his parents and christening dates for some
of his children. Daniel Devoor married secondly February 28-1693,
at Bergen, New Jersey, Angelica Cornelia. He died in Hunterdon
County, New Jersey in 1729. His son James (Jacobus in Dutch)
was christened January 4-1708. James married first Eva Dinge(n)-
man c1719-c1752. Their children were born at Walpeck, Sussex County.
