In Washington, visit the Citizens Library and then the genealogical room: they have volumes I - V of Cemetery index for Washington county (done by volunteers, and records burials in cemetery with what info the grave marker had.) The courthouse records are still intact, as I looked at them last summer (some very dirty & dusty...wear old clothes!). |
