Body: After reading my reply, I realize some typos made
it a bit unclear. Below is what I reall meant to say...

There may or may not have been fire (I don't think there was),
but I do know that the courthouse records still do exist. Particularly
birth & death records, wills, and deeds. These records were
microfilmed by the LDS (aka Mormans) many years ago and the films
are available for viewing (sometimes you have to order them from the main
library) at LDS Family History Centers. I've also used the original
wills and deeds records at the courthouse itself.
