| Body: | | My g g g g grandfather Robert Hoge was a native of Washington County and married to a woman named Phebe(unknown maiden name) and they were residents of Nottingham and Peters Townships in 1800 and 1810 census records. I suspect that he was the son of John Hoge, David Hoge, William or Jonathon Hoge all of which are mentioned in the History of Washington County by Crumrine. I estimate Roberts birth about 1770-75. How do I find birth, marriage, or any records that far back??????? He purchased a land patent in Harrison County OH in 1819 where he lists his nativity as Wash. Co., PA
