Text of Message: I am seeking any information on RALPH LOTTON. I have
not been able to make a direct link between him and Samuel Lotton, my
oldest direct relative. The only thing I have is a reference to Ralph
in the 1850 Census for Ohio County, Indiana. On page 353A, There is a
Ralph Lotton, 76 years old (b. 1774), Farmer, with a birth place listed
as Ireland. Living with Ralph Sr. is an other Ralph Lotton, 45, b.
Delaware and Andrew Lotton, 30, b. Pennsylvania.

I believe (but have nothing to base it on) that Ralph came to Delaware
from Ireland. Had 2 sons named Samuel (b. 1798) and Ralph (b. 1805) in
Delaware. Then Moved to Pennsylvania where Mary (b. 1808?) and Andrew
(b. 1820) were born. And some time later moving through Ohio to Rising
Sun, Ohio County, Indiana, USA. I am probably all wet on making these assumptions, but
you have to start somewhere right?
