    I'm interested in the Quakers associated with the Westland Meeting.
    Specifically, I'm looking for information on Ebenezer and Diana (Ball) WALKER from Quakertown, Bucks Co., PA. Diana was rocf Richland MM at Westland on 1799,11,23.
    There is also a marriage recorded between Aaron WALKER (s/o Ebenezer and Diana) to Miriam Rigg (d/o Clement and Sarah of Wash. Co.) at Westland on 1807,11,5.
    Ebenezer and Diana are my 5th gr-grandparents. Ebenezer was in his sixties when they made this move. They left behind grown children in Bucks and probably travelled with other relatives, (perhaps GRIFFITHs?).
    I'm hoping to locate Aaron and Miriam's descendants and, in doing so, shed some light onto why the WALKERs sold their properties and businesses and travelled from one end of PA to the other at an advanced age.
    I'd be happy to hear from anyone with information on these families or on Westland Meeting. Thanks!

    Researching JOSEPH SHARP'S roots...We know JOSEPH SHARP born 1780 and married to Anna Neely was in Robinson Twp, Allegheny Co. in the early 1800's. Anna was from Robinson Twp. and we assume so was Joseph Sharp. However, it is our understanding that this portion of Allegheny Co. was part of Washington Co. in the late 1700's. We have been told that Joseph's father was Nehemiah but have no proof. His male children were named Joseph, John, Nicholson, James.     I am looking for John Johnson originally from Washington Co. He moved to Mercer Co. around 1805 and married Jane Hays, whose father David Hays was also from Washington Co. There is a David Hays buried in Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage, Pa., Mercer Co. Born around 1850-51 and died Jan. 14, 1831 at age 80. Hays was a teacher prior to 1814 in Mer. Co.     John MOFFITT, according to tradition, died "an untimely death" in Washington Co., PA about 1820, possibly in accident, possibly was 55-60 yrs old. From Ireland, served in Rev. War, wife Nancy (Ann??) HOWARD from VA; at least one son, John, born Harpers Ferry, VA 1811. John moved to Morgan Co., OH when he was 17 (say 1828). No "John Moffitt (or Moffett)" appears in the Washington Co. 1820 census. Does anyone know who the "Anne" Moffett is who appears in Washington Co. 1820 census, p. 239, Pike Run Twp? Is anyone familiar with any info on John MOFFITT and Nancy (Ann?) HOWARD family in Washington Co. from c.1812 to 1828?

    About 1796, Zophar Carnes moved to Fallowfield Twp of Washington Co, from Morris Co, NJ. He married Susannah Ray Earl in Fallowfield, between 1798-1800, and had moved to Trumbull Co, OH by 1804.     I am looking for the families of Daniel SMITH who married Emmaline MORGAN, they had
    Ellma Lee 1866 and William Stewart 1868, and possibly Elizabeth aka Lizz and Belle, also
    there were 2 sons. Emmaline aka Emma died and Daniel married Ruth BURSON who had
    2 sons. Daniel & Ruth had Jessie, Allen and Matilda. Daniel SMITH's parents were Unknown SMITH
    and Barbara KOUTZ they married bef. 1818 and the only child I know is Daniel, there may have been others.
    Barbara KOUTZ's siblings were George, Mary, Catherine & Daniel that I know of.
    Emmaline MORGAN's siblings were George, Daniel, Hattie and Amelia that I know of.
    The MORGAN's were in PA and IA as the story goes Mr. MORGAN was killed by a cyclone.
    The families lived in Greene Co., Alleghany Co., Pittsburgh and Waynesburg, PA that I know
    for sure.

    Sarah and six children. James, Robert, Margarit, William, Elizabeth and Jean. He did leave a Will
    dated July 11, 1803 naming James and wife Sarah his executors. I have the Will but I need more info
    on the children and also, who is George Davidson's father and mother ? Can anyone out there help
    me out. I have found only one of the children thus far. That was Robert Davidson born about 1752. He
    married Elizabeth and they had fourteen children in this union. Please send me a message with any

    I am seeking information about my ancestor Samuel Weaver. Samuel Weaver was one of eight children born to Joseph Webber and his wife. My of his brothers was George who was a drover. George was survived by his wife, but his only offsprings were a set a twin who died in infancy.
    Samuel married Sarah Horn, daughter of Stephen Horn. It is said Samuel and Sarah were ambitious and were land owners. Together they produced six children: Carolina dob 06-17-1827; Sarah m Samuel Cressman; Elias; William m Sarah Hoffert; Lewis m Lydia Lowright; Reuben m Anna Holshower.
    It is said Reuben and Samuel built a stoen farm house on Shelley Road, California, PA. Soon after the house was built, Samuel died. Family verbal history reports that the house was the subject of a newspaper article in 1994 because it was being restored.
    Carolina Weaver was married to John Strunk. They lived with her brother William and his wife Elizabeth in California, PA for two yeas, and their daughter Diana was born there on 06-01-1848. Diana Strunk was my great-grandmother.
    I would appreciate any information anyone might have about the Weavers/Weber/Webber family, or any of those families who connected by marriage.
