    I am looking for lost relatives of my wife. I believe that they were natives of Washington County
    or somewhere in that vicinity. Her mother's maiden name was Linda Jean Scott, she was born
    to Lewis R. SCOTT and Albena (PATERLINE)Scott on Jan. 27, 1944. She married Thomas B.
    Pierson around 1965 and they had two daughters. Regretably she passed away on March 26,
    1970. Her daughters were only 3 1/2 and 2 1/2. My wife is her oldest daughter and since her
    mother's death, she has had no contact with her mother's family that she knows of. We would
    really appreciate any assistance we could get in the location of any family members. She
    remembers that her mother had a sister named Lori and and a brother named Sonny, who was
    killed in an auto accident. She doesn't remember when it happened.

    Hi, I am seeking information on my husband's family.
    Robert Murphy Pollock, b. April 8, 1880 in or near Chester, PA. Father, John Pollock,
    killed in a fire when Robert was very young. His mother's name was Nancy
    ?. He was baptised Robert Blair Pollock, but had a cousin with the same
    name who was head of the Board of Education in Philadelphia. They had a
    "misunderstanding" and he changed his middle name to Murphy.
    Robert (Blair) Murphy Pollock married Anna Hine Maguire, who was born around 1888,
    oldest daughter of William Maguire. William was born in England, and his
    name was William Whittington. He was a cabinet maker. Anna had a sister

There is a William HARVEY who leaves a will in Washington Co, in 1816, and he has sons that go on to Belmont Co, OH, but they are not fathers to my ancestor. The William Harvey, of the 1816 will, has a grandson named William that falls into the age range to be my William. This grandson signs for his portion of his own father's intestate estate in Washington Co. With common first and last name he is hard to track, am hoping someone working on Harveys in Washington Co, PA can be of help.

    1807. He was to have gone to Cannonsburg and Philadelphia to study medicine. He moved to
    Rural Valley, Pa. Armstrong Co. in 1839 and set up his practice. He married Lydia Jane Totten
    on Jan. 7, 1846 and together they had two boys. After Lydia died he married Rececca Caruthers.
    He moved to Mount Union, Ohio in 1866 and later moved to Williamsburg, KS 1870. Were he
    past away on Sept. 16, 1874. I am looking for information on William's Mother and Father, also

He enlisted at Lynn's Station, later called Lousville, KY Co of Jefferson, then VA, in the spring of 1781.     Searching for the names of William Mercers' parents and siblings. William was born in the Port Royal - Winchester, VA area in 1788. His family came to Washington Co when he was a youngster. He was a cooper by trade and married Betsy Huston(Hutson, Houston) from Greene Co in 1810 and they had a daughter Sarah Ann in 1811. He served in the War of 1812 and upon his return divorced Betsy c1814 in Greene or Fayette Co. Betsy died c1816. About 1816 he married Margaret Metts(Metz) in Greene Co (by Richard Price - Baptist minister) and they moved to Monongalia Co, then to Tyler Co (W)VA. Any information would be appreciated.

    I am searching for more information about Nancy REESE (1807-1909) who married John MILLER, Jr. (1796-1875). They resided in Anwell Twp, Washington Co, PA. Children included Martha Miller who married Silas CRISPIN and Ruth Ann Miller who married Jeremiah MOSER. Ruth Ann and Jeremiah were in Georges Twp, Fayette co, Pa for 1870 and 1880 census. Martha and Silas were in Amwell Twp 1870. Would like information on descendants and also proof that Nancy Reese was the daughter of Elijah Rees (1772-1863). Where are Nancy and John Miller buried?
