In my 23 April query, I asked if anyone had information on the burial of James Ross in 1780 in Oak Springs Cemetery in Canonsburg. Answers to that query told me that a very incomplete listing of the old section of the cemetery was done by Helen E. Vogt in June 1969. A
copy of that list is available in the genealogical collection at Citizens Library in Washington, PA. Could someone do a lookup on that list to see if James' grave and that of his wife, Mary are there? The information I have says that he was the first person buried in the cemetery. Thanks in advance for any help.

I speculate that Andrew Smith who married Rebecca Jenkins (daughter of Eleazer) in 1819 was the son of the Andrew Smith of Somerset Township who died 1/22/1814 (will probate date.) Andrew Sr. was married to an Elizabeth and had sons Andrew Jr., James and William and daughter Margaret who was maried to Jeremiah Parker. Would appreciate much if anyone can tell me more about the family and/or origins of Andrew Sr. or can provide firm evidence of my speculation.

Looking for parents and relatives of Baltzer Lahr/Loar/Lohr who had land warrant 1793,land patent 1794 "Law Made" 151 acres on the north fork of 10 Mile Creek Bethlehelm Twp. Washington Co. He died intestate @04/Oct./1816.Known children are George,Baltzer,Peter,Yost or Joseph,Catherine,Elizabeth,Margaret,and Charlotte.Baltzer was found on the 1790 census in Washington Co.

Uriah WIGGINS was in an age group of older than 50 when an 1800 census was taken in the Spanish Province of Louisiana by a Catholic Priest and he was listed as an American Protestant.
He served under Michael CRESAP in 1775 at Pittsburgh during Dunmore's War and was shown on a payroll list as Uria WEGINS.
Uriah, William and John WIGGINS sign an Oath of Allegiance in Washington Co., MD in 1778 and their names are grouped together, implying that they at least knew each other.
William & John migrate to Mason Co., KY where some of their descendents still reside.
Uriah went to the Natchez District and signed a Petition there in 1780. A revolt by the British subjects there against the Spanish fort in 1781 scattered many persons. Uriah resurfaces in Natchez on a 1789 purchase and eventually moves across the MS River into Louisiana by 1794, after MS became a U.S. Territory. During that "missing" period, Daniel K. WIGGINS is born in MD in 1786. He settles in the same area of Louisiana as did Uriah.
Also, a Uriah WIGGINS obtains a marriage bond in Mason Co., KY in 1809 to marry Margaret ADAMSON and in 1815, Uriah and Margrete WIGGINS sign as witnesses to a land sale in Louisiana.
By a previous marriage(woman unknown), Uriah had two sons, Uriah and Daniel. William WIGGINS' daughter, Ruth Ann married Aaron WELLS and their last set of twin boys are named, Uriah and Daniel.
Coincidences ? I think more than that.
Having exhausted Maryland and nothern neck VA records, I am looking across into PA for possiblities. No complete probate has been found in Louisiana for any of the older generations of WIGGINS, that might have provided clues, as to where to search.

I am searching for any history on Patrick Forker Farquhar 1800-1819 Washington County,
tax lists and census list. It appears as if he had sons John born about 1878 and Samuel
born abt 1784 who dies 1817. The name Patrick Forker of Pa is listed in the Perrine
book by Delano of Daniuel Perrine the Huegonot. He has a daughter Janet born 1762
who marries Jame Perrine in Dunningsville PA 1782 and their son marries ELiz
Witherow . Janet and husband move to Ohio . Patrick Forker is next to Witherow in 1810 census. The son John Forker
