Kathryn Agnes McDonald Keener, 83, of Claysville (Buffalo Township), died Saturday, October 11, 1997, in Washington County Health Center, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Keener attended Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and was a 1933 graduate of Morris Township High School. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of American Legion Post 907, Taylorstown; Washington Senior Citizens Center; and the Tops Club, West Alexander. Mrs. Keener was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, visiting covered bridges, listening to country music and taking train rides. On November 5, 1960, in United Presbyterian Church, Claysville, she married Robert Keener, who survives. She previously was married to Walter Morris, who died September 22, 1977. Also surviving are three sons, Walter Morris of Claysville, Donald Morris of Rancho Cucomonga, Calif., and Gary Keener of Avella; four daughters, Ethel Klages of Taylorstown, Patricia Kiskadden of Washington, Katy Walton of Pleasant Grove and Becky Hancher of West Alexander; three brothers, Kenneth Loar of St. Albans, W.Va., Jim Loar of Cleveland, Ohio, and Danny Chew of Brownsville; two sisters, Sarah Fodor of Imperial and Thelma Lou McLaurin of Detroit, Mich.; an aunt, Louise Sowers of Amity; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
