David L. McVay, 57, of West Lincoln Street, Waynesburg, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 1997, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mr. McVay lived his entire life in Waynesburg. He was a landscaper for Dr. Carl Walker in Waynesburg for 15 years. Mr. McVay was a member of the James Farrell American Legion Post No. 330 and the Disabled American Veterans Post No. 123, both of Waynesburg. He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his wife, Joan Morse McVay; two sisters, Carolyn Wilson of Woods and Judy Hopkins of New Britain; two stepbrothers, George R.
