Edwin M. Taylor, 75, of Eldersville, died Saturday, November 15, 1997, in Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center. Prior to his retirement in 1984, Mr. Taylor was employed as a tower operator for Conrail. He was a 1940 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown. Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in China and India. Mr. Taylor was a member of Eldersville United Methodist Church and the Jefferson Township Historical Society. On October 9, 1954, he married Roseleta Blaker, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Harold Taylor of Eldersville and Donald Taylor of Hickory; two sisters, Ruth Vega of Burgettstown and Doris Diaz of Langeloth; and several nieces and nephews.
