Paul K. Roberts, 82, of Wolfdale, died Saturday, November 15, 1997, in the Washington Hospital intensive care unit. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Third United Presbyterian Church of Washington and had attended Eighth Ward school. He retired from Kraft Glass, formerly Metro Containers, where he worked as a machine operator. He was also a self-employed carpenter and a strip miner, and was owner and operator of Paul K. Roberts Home Delivery Coal Company, and worked at Hazel Atlas Glass Plant No. 2. Mr. Roberts was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Taylorstown American Legion Post 907. On May 23, 1934, he married Mary F. "Betty" Holmes Roberts, who died March 30, 1991. Surviving are four sons, Thomas E. Roberts of Claysville, Charles R. Roberts of Toronto, Ohio; David K. Roberts of Washington, and Roger D. Roberts of Wakeman, Ohio; three daughters, Fern Miklic of Washington, Estelle "Tillie" Wallace at home; and Jane L. Naraskivitch of Washington; two brothers, Donovan Roberts of Hazlet, N.J., and James Roberts of North Jackson, Ohio; four sisters, Edith Amos of Greenock, Esther Strope, Jean Kraeer and Helen Huffman, all of Washington; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
