Alfred R. "Rudy" Bartolotta, 70, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, September 16, 1997, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mr. Bartolotta retired in 1973 with 21 years employment at Combustion Engineering, East Monongahela. He was a U. S. Army veteran holding the rank of sergeant in Company A, 110th Infantry during the Korean War. Mr. Bartolotta was a member of Full Gospel Assembly Church in Monongahela, Carroll Township American Legion Post 949, Dunkirk, and the former Sons of Italy and Italian Citizens Club, both of Monongahela. Surviving is his wife, Teresa Guastella Bartolotta, with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage on July 13, 1997. Also surviving are two daughters, Cynthia and Katherine Bartolotta, both of Monongahela; a son, Dennis Bartolotta of Monongahela; three grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua and Tina Bartolotta; a sister, Mary Bartolotta Pomponio of Charleroi; two brothers, Fred Bartolotta of Washington and Antonio Bartolotta of Fayette City; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Steve, Frank and Ernest Bartolotta; and three sisters, Clair, Catherine and Margaret Bartolotta. Copyright ©1997 Observer Publishing Co.
