Word has been received of the death of Stanley I. Barker, 86, of Toledo, Ohio, who died August 16, 1997, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Surviving are a son, Robert Barker; stepchildren Tom Miller, Connie Marietta and Sue Rooks; a sister Sylvia Jamison of Washington; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his wife, Alice Barker; four brothers, Elzie, Howard, Arthur and Don; and a sister, Goldie Vitteck. Copyright ©1997 Observer Publishing Co.
