She was born October 10, 1919, in Hancock, Md., a daughter of John and Bertha Helmick. On November 2, 1935, she married Calvin F. Ganoe, who died March 1, 1976. Surviving are three sons, Calvin F. Ganoe Jr. and James H. Ganoe, both of Carnegie and Edward W. Ganoe of Coraopolis; five daughters, Dorothy Fountain of Oakdale, Margie Voloskie and Mary Lewis, both of McDonald, Betty Stadterman of Carnegie, and Ann Fratini of Canonsburg; three brothers, John Harry and Frank; and one sister, Bertha; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
