Thresa Nicola Petro, 86, of 121 North Central Avenue, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, September 24, 1997. Mrs. Petro spent most of her life in Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Patrick Parish. Prior to her retirement, she worked in sales and health care. Her last employment was at Celento's Department Store in Canonsburg. Her husband, Charles S. Petro Sr., died December 2, 1969. Surviving are three daughters, Rose Courie and Bella Albano, both of Washington, and Marie Adele Dellapiazza of Cecil; two sons, Charles Petro Jr. and James Petro, both of Washington; one brother, Angelo Nicola Jr. of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
