Peggy A. Cupler Mast, 59, of Northgate Apartments, Washington, died unexpectedly at 3:31 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 1997, in Washington Hospital's emergency department. Mrs. Cupler Mast worked for Pastries by John until illness forced her retirement in 1994. She previously worked as a companion for elderly ladies. On June 7, 1958, she married James K. Cupler, who died July 8, 1982. Surviving are two sons, James Thomas Cupler and Edward David Cupler, both of Washington; a daughter, Kathy Garrett of Bentleyville; four brothers, Sam, Gary and Bob Harvey, all of Washington and Dave Harvey of Cranberry; five sisters, Nancy Day of Washington, Mary Jane Baldwin of Columbus, Ohio, Linda Comfort of Washington, Sherry Beddow of Florida and Sue Blake of Reading; seven grandchildren, Christen and Justin Cupler, Jack, Josh and Jennifer Garrett and Lori and Chris Duke; and a great-grandson.
