Henry W. Jenkins, 86, of 112 Armor Street, Richeyville, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 1997, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Mr. Jenkins worked at J&L Steel until his retirement in 1975. He attended Garwood Baptist Church and was a member of Richeyville Community Church. Mr. Jenkins also was a member of IOOF No. 51 of Brownsville, the UMWA and Richeyville Fireman Association. Surviving is his wife, Edna "Peggy" Lyons Jenkins, whom he married July 3, 1938. Also surviving are two daughters, Ellen R. Ford of Richeyville and Karen Keys of Centerville; four grandchildren, Mark S. Ford I, Scott H. Ford, Richard D. Keys and Kristen Keys; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, N. Ruth Hazelbaker and Iva Blanch Gaudiello; and one brother, C. Leonard Jenkins.
