Cecil Lee Porter, 70, of Valley Grove R.D.2, W.Va., died Tuesday, November 4, 1997, at Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital. Mr. Porter was a member of First Church of God, Wheeling. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 956, West Alexander. Mr. Porter was a meter and regulator technician with Columbia Gas Co. He was married to Vera Mae Cartmill Porter, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Jackie Lynn Kleeh of Bethlehem, W.Va.; four brothers, Jim Porter of Wheeling, Richard Porter of Belmont, Ohio, Melvin Porter of Arizona and Russell Porter of Triadelphia, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Chad D.
