Hospital in 1978 A lifelong resident of Canonsburg, she was born August 17, 1915, in Cecil, Belgian Hill, a daughter of the late Hector and Julie Preaux. She was a nurse's aide at Mayview State Hospital for 23 years before retiring in 1978 and attended the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Sifinski of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Marcella Triebsch and Joseph Sifinski; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Hector Preaux, Jewel Preaux and George Preaux; and a sister, Julie Eckles. A private interment was held Tuesday, March 31, in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
