Edward William Price, 77, of Venice, died Monday, March 30, 1998. Mr. Price was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of SNPJ and AFU, both of Strabane, VFW of Canonsburg and American Legion of Houston. He worked for Cooper Industries in Canonsburg. His wife, Sophie Price, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Marylou Gardner of Denver, Colo.; and a brother, Steve Price of McMurray. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, Gift of Remembrance Headquarters, 1101 N. Lake Destiny Road 415, Maitland, FL 32751-7105.
