Arleigh Zimmerman, 59, of Waynesburg R.D.3, died at 12:59 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Zimmerman worked on several farms in the Waynesburg area, including Orndoff's Horse Farm, and had lived in the Waynesburg area most of his life except for a few years in Ohio. He had served in the U.S. Navy, was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 123, Waynesburg, and was a social member of the Waynesburg VFW 4793. On September 12, 1982, he married Marsha C. Roberts, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Karen and Sharon Zimmerman both of Florida, Dorothy Zimmerman of Erie and Aggie Zimmerman at home; three sons, David Zimmerman of Florida, Frankie Teets of Waynesburg and Ulysses Zimmerman at home; two sisters, Elizabeth Wise of New Freeport and Martha Ann Long of Garards Fort; three brothers, Francis Zimmerman of Waynesburg, Frank Zimmerman of Struthers, Ohio, and Richard Zimmerman of Warren, Ohio.
