Antonio Bartolotta, 85, of Monongahela, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, in Country Care Manor, Fayette City. Mr. Bartolotta lived most of his life in Monongahela, where he was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Central European Campaign and the invasion of Normandy. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Bartolotta retired from Monongahela Cemetery and was formerly employed at U.S. Steel's Donora Works. Surviving are a sister, Mary Bartolotta Pomponio of Charleroi; and a brother, Fred Bartolotta of Washington. Deceased are his wife, Jean M. Pippert Bartolotta, who died October 20, 1986; four brothers, Steve, Frank, Ernest and Alfred "Rudy" Bartolotta; and three sisters, Clair, Catherine and Margaret Bartolotta.
