Roy E. "Chuck" Crile Sr., 67, of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, in his home. Mr. Crile attended West Bethlehem area schools and had been employed by Bethlehem Mines Corp., Mine 58, for more than 20 years. He also had been a township supervisor for West Bethlehem Township. Mr. Crile was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving with the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1954, and was a member of American Legion Post 391 of Fredericktown. On March 16, 1953, he married Blanche Briggs, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, S. Christine Sakel of Marianna; three sons, Roy Crile Jr. of Beallsville, Robert Crile of Richmond, Va., and Lee Crile of Richeyville; two brothers, Clark and Paul Crile, both of Marianna; six grandchildren, Jamie, Joseph and Christina Sakel, and Tara, Moranda and Marena Crile; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
