Romeo Palone, 86, of Carmichaels, formerly of Crucible, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mr. Palone was a retired businessman in the Carmichaels area and enjoyed driving a school bus for the Carmichaels School District for many years. Mr. Palone enjoyed bowling and golf and was the .past golf champion at Greene County Country Club. Surviving are three nephews and two nieces; and a sister, Janet Mundell of Berea, Ohio. Deceased are his wife, Hazel Meese Palone, who died December 30, 1992; a brother, Felix Palone; and four sisters, Lena Kessler, Nellie Christy, Josephine Allison and Elvira Aglio.
