Paul L. Clark, 71, of Clearwater, Fla., died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at Morton F. Plant Hospital, Clearwater. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving in World War II. He moved to Clearwater in 1991 from Canonsburg and was a retired foreman for Washington Steel Co. Mr. Clark was a member of Central Christian Church, Clearwater, and a former member of First Baptist Church of Claysville. He was life master and director of Duplicate Bridge, a member of the 18 Hole Golf League, both at On Top of the World, Clearwater. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Wayne Watson of Canonsburg; a son, Paul L. Clark of Brockway; three sisters, Clara Ingram of Sacramento, Calif., Gladys Crompton of Washington and Anna Westfall of Clearwater; a brother, Joseph R. Clark of Clearwater; six grandchildren, Rick, Jeff, Amy and Debra Clark and Kelly and Brian Watson. Deceased are his wife, Anna M. Salvi; and five brothers, John, Charles, Frank, George and Clarence.
