Stanley Quay Bedsworth Jr., 76, of Charleroi, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, April 17, 1998, in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall. He had resided in the Charleroi community for the past 41 years. Mr. Bedsworth was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member and past post commander at Charleroi VFW Arden Calvert Post No. 167. He was also a member of the Slovak Club of Monessen and the 10th Street Athletic Club of Charleroi. Surviving are his wife, Betty Ann Sheehan Bedsworth; two sons, James D. Bedsworth of Belle Vernon and Timothy W. Bedsworth of St. George, Utah; two sisters, Sally Blair of Waynesburg and Marge Morgan of Florida; and a granddaughter, Bethany Bedsworth of Belle Vernon. He was born May 7, 1921 in Bentleyville, a son of Stanley Quay Bedsworth Sr. and Martha Hacket Bedsworth.
