Eva Estelle Johnson, 75, of Carmichaels R.D.3 (Paisley), died unexpectedly at 11:39 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. She had been a resident of the Carmichaels area most of her life. Her husband, William L. Johnson Jr., died May 11, 1989. Surviving are three sons, Jeff M. Johnson, William L. Johnson III and Curtis J. Johnson, all of Carmichaels R.D.3; six grandchildren, Jeff Johnson Jr., Janine Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, Curtis J. Johnson Jr., Candace Ann Birdseye and Ashley A. Johnson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jennie Hyatt of New Port Richey, Fla., and Della Mae Gabella of Orange Village, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a son, John Allen Johnson, who died in infancy; two brothers, John Rowe and Carl Rowe Jr.; and a sister, Helen Lansburger. She was born January 13, 1923, in California, a daughter of Carl Rowe Sr. and Jessie Louise Wilson Rowe.
