Helen Wilma Kaste, 86, of Park Avenue, Washington, formerly of McDonald, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, 1998, at her home. She had been ill since September 1997. Mrs. Kaste was a graduate of Burgettstown High School and a member of the United Presbyterian Church of McDonald. She had been employed at Kio's and Delmo's restaurants, both in McDonald. On April 30, 1936, she married Arthur Kaste, who died in 1980. Surviving are a son, Robert Kaste of McDonald; three daughters, Ruth Stoskel of Washington, with whom she made her home; Lauretta Cummins of Beaumont, Texas, and Dorothy Mills of Richmond, Va.; 12 grandchildren, Arthur and Rose Marie Kaste, Scott Mills, Sherri Tallman, Terry Domachowski, Sandy Moninger, Tim Miller, Lori Braun, Bonnie Rudy, Barbara Black, Karen Kuhler and Joy Alexander; and 25 great-grandchildren. Deceased are four sisters, Linda Columbia, Angeline McCreight, Naomi Kaste and Irene Peters; and two brothers who died in infancy.
