Francis J. Delmastro, 69, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, April 20, 1998, in Mon Valley Hospital. Mr. Delmastro was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. He had officiated football, basketball and lacrosse at the high school and college levels for the past 40 years, and he retired in 1994 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of 43 years, Mary Lubecki Delmastro; two sons, Dennis Delmastro of Rostraver Township and David Delmastro of Belle Vernon; four daughters, Danette Delmastro of Washington, D.C., Denise Delmastro Lasko of Clearwater, Fla., Donna Rainey of Belle Vernon and Diane Gurchak of Hopewell; two brothers, Joseph Delmastro of Monongahela and Carlo Delmastro of Fellsburg; and eight grandchildren, Meghan, Alicia and Brianna Delmastro, Shaye, Sheldan and Sebastian Rainey, and Alec and Angela Gurchak.
