E. Christine Noble, 85, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in Washington Hospital.

She was born March 14, 1913, in Washington, a daughter of Albert and Lilly Courson Horn.
Mrs. Noble attended Pancake School. She was a homemaker and had also worked in the cafeteria at the Pancake school.
She was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church, Washington Area Senior Citizens and enjoyed quilting and crafts.
On August 28, 1936, she married James C. Noble, who died in 1968.
Surviving are a son, James R. Noble of Munhall; two daughters, Helen L. Moore of Fredericktown and Ruth E. Hill of Beallsville; a sister, Mary W. Horn of Washington; eight grandchildren, William Moore, Jack Hill, Holly Moore, Christy Rohrer, Mary Zuchowski, Thomas Hill, and James and Lisa Noble; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Lola J. Horn; and a grandson, Douglas E. Moore.
