Pearl Anna Crowe Wheeler, 72, of Mounts Road, Washington, died unexpectedly at 9:50 p.m. Monday, April 20, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Wheeler was employed as a dishwasher at Club 40 Restaurant for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, bingo, traveling and enjoyed being with her family. On April 11, 1969, she married Lloyd Wheeler, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Maybelle "Dolly" Alderson of Washington, daughter of Pete Borsos; Martha Ann "Marti" Beecham of Lone Pine and Sheila "Kay" Wheeler of West Alexander, daughters of Demas Frazee of Lone Pine; and Zella Jo Wheeler of Washington, daughter of Lloyd Wheeler; two brothers, John Crowe of Washington and another brother, address unknown; three sisters, Mary Jane Johnson of Washington, Estelle "Suzy" Latshaw of Bulger and Martha Guiddy of Weirton, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren, Mark Samuel Paletta, Michael Demas Paletta, Samantha Ann-Elizabeth Beecham, Amanda Victoria Beecham, Sheila Ann Moses, Franklin R. Alderson Jr., Perry Rock Alderson, David Jay Alderson, David Lee Wheeler Jr., Kenneth Melvin Wheeler, Sherry Ann Wytovich, Kimberly Kay Strawn, Alyssa Ivy Wheeler, Natasha Marie Renz and Cassandra "Casey" Wheeler, who was raised by Pearl Wheeler; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
