Grace Saenger Emery of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, April 19, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Emery was a homemaker and had made her home in South Florida since 1947. She had a special love of horses and was keenly interested in the Kentucky Derby. She and her husband owned a number of harness horses. On December 27, 1963, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., she married B. Irwin Emery, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert Powers of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Edward Saenger of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Joan Brooks of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Kerri and John Powers. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., a daughter of the late Edward C. and Margaret Hooker Saenger.
