Katherine D. Harter, 45, of Washington, died Monday, April 20, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Miss Harter attended McGuffey schools and was employed as a waitress and bartender in the Washington area. She was a member of Gospel Way Church in Canonsburg. Surviving are a daughter, Jordan Rayla Harter, at home; a sister, Lois Harter of Washington; two brothers, John Harter of Taylorstown and George Harter of Washington; her paternal grandmother, Frances Harter of Washington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
