Andrew J. Reposky, 74, of Carmichaels, died unexpectedly at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mr. Reposky had resided in Carmichaels since 1948. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was wounded in action in the Battle of Guam in the South Pacific. He received the Purple Heart for his injuries. He was a member of Cumberland American Legion Post 400 of Carmichaels, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491 of Carmichaels, a life member of Disabled American Veterans Unit 123 of Waynesburg, a life member of the Third Marine Division Association and a member of Carmichaels Senior Center. On October 12, 1948, he married Dawn Glover Reposky, who survives. Also surviving are two nephews, Andrew J. Reposky and Carl Levock; and a niece, Cecelia Levock.
