Stace Wilson, 88, of Daybrook, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was a member of Daybrook Church of Christ. During his early years he worked in the oil fields as a tool dresser and driller in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He also worked on construction jobs and for Consolidation Coal Company and retired from Carnegie Gas Company in Waynesburg. Mr. Wilson was a fox hunter and horseman and was a member of Daybrook Fox Hunters Club. Surviving are his wife, Mabel Yost Eddy Wilson; four granddaughters, Susan Rockwell, Sally Sapp, Sandy Moore and Lee Ann Shumiloff; three grandsons, Steve, Christopher and Tim Wilson; and a twin sister, Mayme Wilson Jones Haught of New York, N.Y. Deceased are his first wife, Dolly Irene Tennant Wilson, who died April 19, 1972; two sons, Teddy Hugh Wilson and Ivan Blaine "Butts" Wilson; a grandson, Bradley Neil Wilson; and four brothers and three sisters.
