William E. Metz, 59 of Michigan Avenue, Washington, died at midnight Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in the Greenery Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. Mr. Metz was a member of Taylorstown Presbyterian Church. He had been employed in maintenance at Immaculate Conception Church prior to his retirement. On September 6, 1958, he married Janet Yvonne Rice, who survives. Also surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, John Metz at home; three daughters, Sue Ellen Cullen of Washington, Kimberly Ann Marchetii of Canonsburg and Karen Baumgardner of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Robert Metz of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Kiddle of Detroit, Mich.; four grandchildren, Heather Lynn, William Jake and Amanda Sue Metz and Kimberly C.
