Elizabeth Springer Phillips, 81, of Girard, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, in Pleasant Ridge Manor. Mrs. Phillips worked as a bookkeeper in Washington for several years. Surviving are two daughters, Becky and Nancy, both of California; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Layne Phillips, who died at age 16; a brother, Clarence Springer; and a sister, Dorothy White.
