She was born November 25, 1916, in Manifold, a daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Reeves Tokar. On May 30, 1936, in St. Michael Church in Canonsburg, she married John B. Scalzi, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John L. Scalzi of Westchester; a daughter, Sally Ann Scalzi of Pittsburgh; a sister, Helen Lockman of Washington; two grandsons, Brian Scalzi and John Scalzi; and three great-grandchildren.
