Philomena "Minnie" Colizza, 87, formerly of the Thomas Campbell Apartments, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 1998, in the Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Colizza was Catholic and had volunteered with the Washington Hospital Auxiliary for many years. For a number of years she was a bookkeeper and sewing teacher at the Singer Sewing Center in Pittsburgh. Her husband, Anthony F. Colizza, died May 3, 1948. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Arthur of Amity; two brothers, William Pape of Pittsburgh and Anthony Pape of Texas; three sisters, Jay Tapolci of Finleyville, Frances Farmer of Saxonburg and Sister Laura Pape of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Ronnie and Glen Arthur and Mary Jenkins; and three great-grandchildren.
