Alex Surow, 80 of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Arden, died Saturday, April 4, 1998, in Chicago. Mr. Surow was a retired bookkeeper for an auto dealership in Chicago and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are four nieces, Janet Sasek and Joan Susko, both of Houston, Jean Cholak of Meadow Lands and Joyce Matich of Bethel Park; and several great-nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, John Surow; and a niece. Service and interment are private and at the convenience of the family.
