Founding member of Peters Township library

Marie R. Merdian James of North Strabane Township died Saturday, August 8, 1998.

Mrs. James was a founding member of Peters Township Public Library and a member of the Peters Township Century Club.

She enjoyed playing bridge and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Carroll E. James; two sons, J. Terry and F. Jay Merdian; a stepson, Dennis C. James; a brother, Jerry Bevilacqua; and three grandchildren, James T. and Brian J. Merdian, and Caitlin May James.
