Margaret E. Phillips, 86, of Madison, Ohio, formerly of Washington, died Friday, August 7, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Phillips moved from Washington to Madison in 1989. She was a homemaker. On December 6, 1943, in Washington, she married Charles A. Phillips, who is deceased. Surviving are a daughter, Katherine "Jann" Terry of Madison; two granddaughters, Cari N. McBride of Clawson, Mich., and Jennifer J. "Steven" Martin of Lyndhurst, Ohio; a grandson, Christopher McBride of Auburn Hills, Mich.; and three great-grandchildren.
