William A. Six, 61, of Washington, formerly of Morris Township, died at 3 p.m. Monday, August 10, 1998, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington, after a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of the Prosperity area all his life prior to moving to Washington in 1994. Mr. Six was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and attended Trinity High School. He was employed with his father for several years as a house painter and was a former employee of Pennsylvania Transformer and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was last employed by Bob Verner Buses as a bus driver in the McGuffey School District before retiring because of ill health. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Ruth Burns Six, whom he married April 27, 1963; a daughter Bonnie Jo Whipkey of Prosperity R.D.1; a brother, Charles Ray Six of Los Altos, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Cheyanne Whipkey.
