William T. Clayton, 66, of 75 Old Orchard Road, Dillsburg, died Tuesday, August 11, 1998, in Fairview Retirement Village, Lewisberry. Mr. Clayton was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a former vice president of Northern York County School Board and a graduate of Penn State University. Surviving are his wife, Helen L. Porter Clayton; two sons, Brian N. Clayton of Dillsburg and Andrew E. Clayton of York; a daughter, Cathy J. Failor of Shermans Dale; a brother, David Clayton of Avella; three sisters, Wilda Guthrie and Priscilla Enoch, both of Washington, and Elizabeth Baker of Mesa, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
