Bertha T. Marlowe, 93, of Waynesburg, formerly of Wheeling, W.Va., died at 6:15 p.m. Monday, August 10, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mrs. Marlowe was a homemaker and a member of Fourth Street Methodist Church, Wheeling, W.Va. She worked for various companies as a salesperson and doing office work. Surviving are a daughter, Eileene V. Kirkpatrick of Roanoke, Va.; a grandson, Kevin M. Kirkpatrick; a sister, Loretta Fox of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are her husband, Harry M. Marlowe, who died December 29, 1963; and three brothers, Raymond, Howard and Earl Thompson.
