T. Paul Tissot Jr., 78, of Cherry Hill, N.J., died Friday, August 14, 1998, in Silver Care Center, Cherry Hill. He was a resident of Cherry Hill for 41 years and a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Cherry Hill. Mr. Tissot served as a radio technician in the U.S. Navy during World War II and taught electronics at the U.S. Navy Electronics School in Treasure Island, Calif. He was a 1949 graduate of Stanford University with a bachelor of science degree. He worked at Dumont TV in Edison, N.J., designing transformers and electric circuitry. He later began working for RCA in the early 1950s as an electronics engineer. He designed high powered radar transmitters and submarine radar systems as part of the Instrumentation Radar Support Program. He retired in 1987. Mr. Tissot was a ham radio operator and a member of the American Radio Relay League. He also enjoyed golfing. Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Natalie DiMuzio Tissot; two sons, Stephen of Newark, Del., and Anthony of Morgan Hill, Calif.; two daughters, Janice Esposito of Marlton, N.J., and JeanMarie Tissot McLaughlin of Brigantine, N.J.; a sister, Yvonne Brooke of Studio City, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
