Lena M. Rhodes, 85, of Toronto, Ohio, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, August 15, 1998, in Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio. She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto, and its Catholic Womens Club. Mrs. Rhodes was retired from the former Hub Department Store in Steubenville, Ohio. Surviving are a sister, Constance Martin of Washington; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Deceased are her husband, Ross Rhodes, who died in 1987; a son, Richard E. Rhodes, who died August 25, 1997; three sisters, Mary Raviora, Annie Cox and Elsie Gorby; a grandson and a granddaughter.
